Ocean Freight is the method of transporting goods by sea by putting cargo in containers that are loaded onto vessels. Ocean Freight carries over 90% of the world’s trade. Generally speaking, if the goods that is needing to be shipped is over 100kg then it’s shipped by sea.

Generally, there are two ways to ship your items. Either an FCL or LCL.

FCL stands for Full Container Load – Having the whole container. LCL stands for Less Than Container Load – Sharing the container with someone else.

The majority of containers are the standard 20ft or 40ft.
